We are pleased to invite you to the 9th International Scientific Conference “Economic Sciences for Agribusiness and Rural Economy” (ESARE).  The theme of this year’s edition is “Agri-Food Sector Competitiveness in European Union Countries”.

The event will take place on June 2, 2026, and will be hosted on MS Teams.

The conference will explore key topics, including:

• Obstacles and opportunities in boosting agri-food sector competitiveness
• Competitiveness determinants in agriculture and food enterprises
• Innovation and science in agri-food economic development
• EU agri-environmental and climate policy and its impact on agribusiness competitiveness
• Competitiveness of the agri-food sector in the context of globalisation and international integration processes

ESARE is a platform for the exchange of ideas between academics and agribusiness professionals whose research interests focus on the contemporary needs of the agri-food economy and rural development. Previous editions have welcomed Polish and international speakers.
